Fifteen Years of Comedy, Community, and Belly Laughs

Now in its 15th year, the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival brings six unforgettable nights of stand-up to the Seacoast, all for just $20 a ticket. What started as a backyard hangout among comics has grown into a summertime tradition that packs out shows with fans who know how to laugh. The festival takes place at the Back Hideaway at McGuirk’s Ocean View Hotel and Restaurant, a cozy venue with ocean views, a full dinner menu, and two bars to keep the good times flowing. Every night features an entirely different lineup, with some of the region’s sharpest, most innovative, and downright funniest comedians taking the stage.

Comedy Under the Stars (Weather Permitting)

All shows start at 8pm (doors open at 6pm), and yes—these are adult shows. Bring your sense of humor, grab a drink, and leave the kids at Playland. Shows are 21+ and may include adult content (actually, they definitely will). While festival founder Jimmy Dunn won’t be in this year’s rotation, he’s handpicked comedians over the years who continue to bring the heat. If Mother Nature cooperates, you’ll be laughing under the stars. If she doesn’t, you’ll get a full refund. A seaside comedy night for just twenty bucks? That’s a no-brainer.
